Introduction
A. Background
Problems
The development of information and communication technology in the Industrial 4.0 era has had a great influence on the teaching and learning process. Easy access to technology has been used by teachers to facilitate the learning process. Access to technology is also able to improve the quality of education. Since the discovery of internet technology, almost everything has become possible in the world of education. Nowadays, students can learn not only anywhere but at the same time at any time with the existing electronic learning system facilities. E-learningkini is increasingly known as one of the ways to overcome education and training problems, both in developed countries and in developing countries, especially Indonesia. Many people use different terms for e-learning but in principle e-learning is learning that uses electronic services as a tool.
As has been conveyed by Keengwe & Georgina in his research has stated that technological developments provide changes to the implementation of teaching and learning (Keengwe & Georgina, 2012). Information technology can be accepted as a medium in conducting educational processes, including assisting the teaching and learning process, which also involves the search for references and sources of information (Wekke & Hamid, 2013).
The delivery of materials through online can be interactive so that learners are able to interact with the computer as their learning medium. As one example of students who use electronic media learning or establish relationships (browsing, chatting, vidiocall) through electronic media, in this case computers and the internet will later obtain learning outcomes that are more effective and good than conventional learning.
The use of learning media in the teaching and learning process is one of
the efforts to improve the effectiveness and quality of the learning process
that can ultimately improve the quality of student learning outcomes. The use
of learning media in the teaching and learning process has several benefits
including: (1) Teaching will attract more students so that it can foster
student learning motivation, (2) Teaching materials will be clearer so that
students can understand and master the teaching objectives well, (3) Teaching
methods will be more varied, (4) Students will interact more in learning
activities because not only listen to the teacher's explanation but also other
activities such as observing , demonstrating and others .
B. Theory
Description
1. Effectiveness
According to Hidayat (1986) effectiveness is a measure that states how far the target (quantity, quality and time) has been achieved. Where the greater the percentage of targets achieved, the higher the effectiveness. While Handoko (1997:7) explained that effectiveness is the ability to choose the right goals or the right equipment for the achievement of the goals set. Effectiveness of the level of ability to achieve goals appropriately and well (Devung, 1988:25).
Steers (1985:87) explains that effectiveness is the scope of a program's efforts as a system with certain resources and means to meet its goals and objectives without crippling those ways and resources and without putting any reasonable pressure on its implementation. In learning required careful planning, the creation of learning tools, selection of strategies, media, techniques, learning models, to evaluation of learning that all are mutually sustainable. The need to use effective and innovative learning models so that in the learning carried out can be more varied and run smoothly. The use of the learning model is also adapted to the material to be taught so that the suitability between the two and all components becomes appropriate.
One indicator of learning effectiveness is the achievement of a learning goal. Learning objectives are achieved to the maximum so it can be said that learning achieves its effectiveness. In addition, student involvement actively demonstrates learning efficiency. The teaching and learning process is said to be effective if the learning can achieve the expected goals and students can absorb the subject matter and practice it.
Learning methods and strategies are now shifting by leading to a change
in the educational paradigm. It affects the function of educators as
facilitators, mediators and motivators in the learning process. Teachers have
always been considered learning centers, but now they have turned into students
as learning itself. One of the causes, among others, is the rapid progress of
information technology requires a paradigm change in the learning process
carried out by all students.
2. E- Learning/ Online
According to Koran (2002) E-learning as any teaching and learning that uses electronic circuits (LAN, WAN, or internet) to convey the content of learning, interaction, or guidance. Hartley (2001) explained that E-learning is a type of teaching and learning that allows teaching materials to be delivered to students by using internet media, intranet or other computer network media. Rosenberg (2001) emphasized that E-learning is aimed at using internet technology to deliver a series of solutions that can improve knowledge and skills.
E-learning has shortened learning time and made study costs more
economical. E-learning facilitates interaction between learners with materials
or subject matter, learners with teachers or instructors and fellow learners.
Learners can share information with each other and can access learning
materials at any time and over and over again, with such conditions learners
can further strengthen their mastery of learning materials. In E-learning, the
teachers who take on the role are computers and electronic guides designed by
"contents writers", E-learning designers and computer programmers.

Discussion
A. Research Data
Researchers conducted interviews with resource persons, namely 4 high school students and 1 junior high school student, the total resource person was 5 people.
1.Data Analysis
a. Online
Effectiveness Based on Student Experience
Researchers interviewed research subjects about their experiences of online effectiveness in learning. As a result, 2 out of 5 respondents felt that online learning was more effective and 3 respondents stated that face to face learning is considered more effective. They felt that the application of online learning that they obtained was only centered on assigning tasks, the ratio of material delivery was very small. In addition, access to ask questions is also not as wide as during face to face learning, both asking teachers and friends.
b. Online
Advantages and Disadvantages Based on Student Experience
Researchers interviewed research subjects about their experiences of the
advantages and disadvantages of online-based learning. The experiences students
feel about the advantages and disadvantages of online vary greatly, including:
Excess:
·
Students feel more relaxed and happy
·
Students feel they have more time at home with their
families
·
Students feel they have more time to rest and relax
·
Students feel more relaxed and less tense
Lack:
·
Students feel wasteful because quotas run out quickly
·
Students find it more difficult to understand the
material presented by the teacher
·
Students feel sad because the snack money earned is
reduced
· Students feel social activities with their friends are hampered
c. Online-Based
Learning Atmosphere Based on Student Experience
Researchers interviewed research subjects about their experiences of the atmosphere they felt during online-based learning. As a result, 2 respondents stated that online learning was considered unpleasant, they felt some obstacles such as signal interference during learning. While 3 other respondents stated that online learning is more enjoyable, they felt that online learning is more efficient to be implemented.

Expectations About Things To Improve On Online Application
Researchers interviewed research subjects about their experiences of
improvements that should have been made during online implementation so that
online-based learning could be better. The advice respondents gave was very
varied, such as:
·
Explanation of learning materials: Students hope that
the teachers will continue to provide explanations about the learning
materials. Students recommend explaining the material via video, they find the
material easy to accept and understand.
·
Following the trend of technological advances:
Students hope that teachers can follow the trend of technological advances by
utilizing the application / social media that is being liked by the students,
so that students feel more enthusiastic, enthusiastic, and not easily bored.
Students recommend that occasional lessons can be done with IG Live, they feel
happy and when doing question and answer sessions feel made easier.
